Passenger Trains > LA Union Station Hist. Soc. Exhibit-Saturday

The Los Angeles Union Station Historical Society will exhibit some of its extensive collection of LAUS / LAUPT memorabilia at this Saturday's Union Station Train Fest--12Noon-to-6:00PM. Our exhibit will be inside the main entrance doors and to the left (where the Xmas tree usually stands). I was just in LAUPT a few weeks ago and was sad to see cast letters missing from the old passenger schedule board on display in the passenger waiting area. Not sure about the history of this board; it features train info from the big three railroads serving LAUPT. Maybe this isn't the 'safest' place to display such a piece..

Rest assured, we will look into this on Saturday. And we will report back when we sort it out.
