As well as getting to see the Amtrak Domeliner come into San Diego. Caught PVs Acoma and Overland Trail coming in as well on the very next SB. Maybe for Comic Con?

I think for the Del Mar Horse raises that started today.  That should have been 12 cars long ! with four extra Amtrak cars.

Between ComicCon and Del Mar, there will a lot of extra trains and equipment.
Because nobody wants to deal with the gridlock that is the I-5 from San Juan Capistrano and San Diego!

Yes, Overland Trail and ACOMA were in San Diego for a Del Mar "opening day" client. Long train, indeed ... barely fit clear of Ash Street. Here's a video from the start of the trip (near the fly over).
