Passenger Trains > Canada's only electrified commuter lineDate: 07/21/17 18:05 Canada's only electrified commuter line Author: Mberry The Deux-Montagnes Sub in the Montreal area is the only electrified commuter line in Canada and commuter trains on the Deux-Montagnes and Mascouche lines pass through this section of track. This afternoon AMT 939 consisting of 10 MU cars heads through the Town of Mount-Royal, heading for Deux-Montagnes. In the background is the town's namesake. I would have liked to shot a Mascouche train (which runs with Bombardier dual mode ALP-45DP's and multilevel cars) here as well, but it clouded over and then started to rain before one ran.
