Passenger Trains > 11 Coast Starlight Departing Seattle July 24, 2017

Does anybody know if # 11 has the " Pacific Parlour Car " in the consist today?
My brother is arriving in Sacramento today on # 5 and staying over night and catching # 11 tomorrow morning at 06:30 if on time !!! :):):)

Sad that it's a crap shoot if advertised equipment (which is what really sets this train apart), will be in the consist.

The prior Starlight, 11(23) did not have a Parlour Car; it had a Superliner Sightseer Lounge substituting.

It's not a crap shoot at this time. The dice are fixed. The dates for which of the CS consists will not have a PPC are well known at the moment.

They include 11(23), 14(25), 11(27), 14(29), and 11(31) in July.

That is, unless the one dinged by the rolled over SUV in Guadalupe, CA the other day has also been taken out of service.
