Number 7 hit some debris yesterday at Saco, Montana, and it took out an air line on one of the locomotives. A BNSF engine was sent to the rescue, resulting in the 6-hour delay.

I managed to photograph number 7 shortly before the incident, then I raced ahead to capture it at another location. But it didn't show and that's when I learned of the delay. I gave it up and went to Whitefish to spend the night so I could catch number 8 this morning.

I think 7 eventually rolled through Whitefish about 4 this morning.

Both are terminating in Spokane today.

Arrived Spokane just after 9am.

I rolled through Spokane a couple of hours ago and snapped this shot of tonight's train, all ready to go, and still with the BNSF leader.
