Passenger Trains > Auto-Train etc to resume on Monday?Date: 09/15/17 11:12 Auto-Train etc to resume on Monday? Author: Lackawanna484 Amtrak is showing availability for the Auto-Train southbound from Lorton on Monday. Much to my surprise, there are sleeper spaces available. No service Sunday.
Train 52 will also begin service, northbound, on Monday. Looks like an extremely light load. Bucket 1 coach fares are available, bedrooms are available, even priority off loading. Author: RevRandy Happy about this (as confirmed on AMTRAK.com) ... have a long-standing reservation on 53 on Monday, Sept 18 - heading home to Key West after being away about 3.5 months. And it now appears that the road into Key West will be open by then. YAY!
