Would anyone have a photo they could share of what these cars looked like ?
What train did it run on?
What paint scheme?

Kinda like this:

They also had similar cars on the Shasta Daylight. Remember riding one around the time of the Amtrak start-up.

That seems a really oddball way to show the set.....using a never did exist two of each car display, in what is otherwise......NOT a Daylight triple unit diner, but a Lark or Cascade Club set.

They were arranged in this order, front to rear: Kitchen-dorm, dining room, tavern lounge.

Plans 7452 Tavern, 53 Diner, and 54 Kitchen/ Dorm were the Lark Triple-unit cars.
There were 2 sets built.
They were Two Tone Grey.
Both were scrapped.

The Cascade cars were similar, but smooth sided. Those two still exist. Fun fact: one of the Cascade sets was nearly used on the AFT. $$ ran short and the PreAmble cars were used instead. Probably just as well- the AFT had planned to cut into the rear car to make an open
platform!
Ouch!

The three-car set that until a couple of years ago was on private property
near Bullard, Texas was an intact Lark Club. It was used as a party venue
by its owner.

Owner B.B. Garrett died in 2013 and his estate put his collection up for sale.

In 2013 a sale to the City of Grapevine, TX was announced.

The Texas set is a Lark set?!
That's pretty cool (I thought it was a Cascade set)
So we have both a Lark & a Cascade (at Niles, CA- this was the almost AFT set).
Nice.
