Passenger Trains > sunset following the chief a tracking anomalyDate: 09/21/17 18:01 sunset following the chief a tracking anomaly Author: dan https://asm.transitdocs.com/ 2 and 4 at Raton
Date: 09/21/17 18:46 Re: sunset following the chief a tracking anomaly Author: GenePoon Appears that Los Angeles swapped power; a unit that was planned
to be leading 2(20) wound up on 4(20) and the programming of the tracking system wasn't changed. This is an error different from the one that showed Train 5 in the middle of an Illinois golf course one afternoon; or the one that showed an Amtrak train moving across South Dakota, which has no Amtrak service. We were in an area in western NoDak with god-awful cell service, and a woman at the next seat over points to her iPad, which was showing the train running roughly in a west-to-east direction, but maybe a quarter mile south of the track.
"Well that explains the rough ride," she said. "We're not on the tracks anymore." Hilarity ensued, and somebody in the crowd offered to get her another beer. Date: 09/22/17 08:59 Re: sunset following the chief a tracking anomaly Author: dan guess they rectified the anomalie
