Passenger Trains > PO53

Listening to CSX disp. @ Folkston. It appears PO53 has struck a vehicle N. of Folkston....Up near Hortense GA. Can only hear the Disp. side of conversation.

Still stopped as of 8:13 EDT.

Moving as of 10 am. 97 is on the move behind it.

I'm on 53(21). They told us we hit a pickup truck driving ON the tracks before 6AM. I'm in a sleeper far enough back that I slept through it.
We got moving again after a 3 hour delay, stopped to let the southbound Star and Meteor pass.
Now we've stopped south of Jacksonville with what they're calling engine air pressure issues.

Amtrak currently has the sb Auto-Train listed for arrival at Sanford just after 2pm, about five hours late.

The company hasn't begun to move the departure time for today's 52 yet. If you arrive at 2pm, a 5-5.30pm departure is more likely.

At 3:08 pm, it's rolling near Seville. Another hour to Sanford?

Good guess, maybe a little more time if there are restrictions after the crash. I'm guessing the crew swapped out up line, the folks out of Florence would have timed out mid-morning.
