Date: 09/24/17 22:54 Re: No. 3 Service Disruption Author: OTG Debris strike. Lead locomotive damaged and set out, BNSF motor sourced to get over the pass. It'll be swapped out for the protect at Albuquerque.

Date: 09/25/17 12:32 Re: No. 3 Service Disruption Author: 1976 There was no BNSF engine. Train was already over Raton pass when the incident occurred. Second Amtrak engine added at Albuquerque.

Guess so. Date: 09/25/17 17:02 Re: No. 3 Service Disruption Author: ProAmtrak Thing I don't get is why Amtrak took the protect engine out for a while, it's nice to have that instead of paying BNSF an arm and a leg each time they need a unit from them!

Now with the Chargers now freeing up some units we may see more available power. Andy Date: 09/25/17 21:21 Re: No. 3 Service Disruption Author: ProAmtrak Thanks Andy!
