Chargers in Chicago

Has anyone seen Siemens Chargers pulling trains out of Chicago? About a month ago I was told there was only one in Chicago-Milwaukee service and two testing as trailing units on other routes.

I've seen one on a Quincy train once but it's been a few weeks.

I caught one running as 2nd unit on a what I think was a Milwaukee train last Friday.

I still see one as a trailing unit on the Chicago-St. Louis route

yes, they are frequently 2nd units on CHI-STL. I have not seen one leading.

There are also now two chargers sitting at the St. Louis Amtrak station.

Somehow I don't see that happening this year and maybe the next few years too.

IDTX 4620 has been a regular in the Chicago-Milwaukee rotation for the last few weeks. Here it is last Tuesday. I did see a St. Louis-bound train on 9/30 but was too far away to see the number.

4611 and 4612 at St. Louis on 10/11
