It just shows what a private company can do where the government fails (NJT and Amtrak being examples). I can't see why anyone would be opposed to this.

Keep in mind history, both Amtrak and NJTs territories, were operated by private carriers for decades, and it failed miserably. I’ve done two round trips on Brightline and it doesn’t compre to any Amtrak service (outside of Acela) or commuter rail in this country. Posted from iPhone |
