Speculative answers: A) the trip up West Albany hill was too much and they had to bring in a Mohawk class steamer as helper B) they left the Albany station and dwelt for an hour at the Rensselaer shops for some mechnical reason C) the Livingston Avenue bridge could not clear its signal D) snow was falling E) new second track out of service for unknown reasons/new track signals dark F) because they could Edited 1 time(s).
