Heads up PV fans on Capitol Limited 30 eastbound route
Just saw the Pensy PV SOckets (however you say spell that name )
pass Chesterton IN on the Rear on Train 30--2nd at 727pm CT or 1927C entral Time

That’s Louis Sockalexis, the original Cleveland Indian. Car is originally PRR Frank Thomson (see related thread elsewhere on TO).

My understanding is that the new owners are returning the car’s name to its original PRR designation “Frank Thomson”. The car may be still be lettered Louis Sockalexis during this trip, but will be re-lettered at the first opportunity.

I think the new lettering came off enroute from Winslow to Chicago.
