...and don't go around the gates.

BrightLine testing in the Miami area currently involves four trains daily, according to a TV news report. That is expected to go up to 11 as testing of signal circuits, etc takes place. No word on whether this will mean deputies are assigned to crossing duty, as was done upstate.

In the earlier testing, one or two trains would make repeated passes over a several mile stretch to test the signals, assure gates went down as intended, etc. In some cases there would be a BL train on each train, side by side, or converging on adjacent tracks.

The presence of signal maintainers waiting at a crossing is a give away that there should be a train in the area.

Nice to see this happening with out the government bozo's running the show. The project seems to be moving right along.
