Are these from the Siemens plant in California? If so, it's rather ironic that products from the West Coast are going into service where Baldwin Locomotive and J. G. Brill plants used to build cars and locomotives for the US and the world.

They are, indeed, from the Siemens plant near Sacramento.

Forgot about Budd--one can imagine a vintage streamliner car pulling into a station, and the conductor saying "This Budd's for you" to a waiting passenger.
