Passenger Trains > CalTrain and Muni last month

Was just barely in San Francisco last month (never got into the city itself), but did manage to catch some CalTrain runs and Muni runs near the old Bayshore SP Yard. Was there in hopes of catching the South San Francisco Switch, but it never showed.

Image one is JPBX 231 shoving to San Francisco.

Image two is JPBX 236 pulling to Tamien with some ex-Metrolink from my part of California down south.

Image three is JPBX 233 shoving to San Francisco with some more ex-Metrolink cars in the mix.

Too busy using them. Which is why they brought them, they needed the capacity.

While were on the peninsula, I was on the East Bay (Oakland and Walnut Creek) following the ROW of the old Sacramento and Northern (have two daughters who live just off that line) Looks like we both lucked out with glorious late April/early May weather. Rainfan on!
