The AmTrak live map website seems to be having issues ... it was working this morning around 9:30 am MST ... was trying to track AmTrak Train #6 ... is was reportedly at Green River UT or thereabouts.
Have not been able to get any updates on the website (https://asm.transitdocs.com/map)  since then ... error says unable to connect to AmTrak server ... anyone have any updates?

Yea, no trains or locations are currently showing on the Amtrak map.

​The Dixieland software location map shows #6 now past Fort Morgan, CO running 37 minutes late.  It was 48 minutes late earlier this morning at Green River.

Well maybe it just came back online ... now seeing data at the website ... but still a
pretty weird event. ...

Or maybe not ... gone again!

happens a lot on the weekends, when amtrak takes their computers off line for work,  this thread repeats every month

it has happened before...................dixieland is working this time, havn't checked amtrak on line

To clarify something here, that is NOT an Amtrak or govermnet website.

The is a 3rd party website that connects and retrieves data from Amtrak.

The train tracker at asm.transitdocs.com, while it is 3rd party, pulls its data from Amtrak. 

The “official” track a train on Amtrak’s site is also down - so whatever the issue is, it appears to be on Amtrak’s side

back up!  i called bn yesterday after a hit a powerline, major one near brush, that was also down on the RR,  looks like it took them awhile to get it off the tracks for #6 got 5.5 hours later

here is a pic of the airport  right before i ran into the downed powerline  other modes suffered as well, this trailer collapsed after beeing battered by straight line winds..
