Great video!  It's always  nice to see the Auto Train.

Back in the 80’s we thought a decision was made to start-up an auto train from Illinois to Colorado which would have dublicated the schedule, equipment utilization, and almost the ridership of this Autotrain

If that decision was made my bet because of the booming travel economy in Colorado we would be talking about the Rockie Auto-train as much as the Florida Autotrain

It seems all of the cars wheels have flat spots.

The trip length and time are about the same.

No Sightseer Lounge on this consist (good, doesn't need it!), although they used to keep one in the que as a backup - to the modified Superliner I Diner converted Lounges that operate exclusively on the Auto Train......

16 Superliners, almost all were Superliner II. Should these not be on the long-hauls?
