Passenger Trains > BNSF Special Short Line Convention

Any one seen or is shooting this Short Line Association Special.
San Diego to LA Harbor and Return today.

Just pulled it up on-line.

No scheduled times posted that i could find.

I would assume its in Hobart Yard and heading down the Alameda Corridor by now.

Since they have cut the line leading to down town San Pedro / Ports O call village it May head to the end of Avalon Blvd in Wilmington.
I have seen other specials park in this location where vehicles are loaded into Auto Racks.

Hope someone can catch a few good shots of it today.

I don't think that the train ran to Hobart or to the port.  Instead, I think they only went part of the distance to LA before changing directions and heading back south to San Diego.  I'm pretty sure they didn't go north of Irvine today.

I’m on board, I think I heard someone say it was Irvine we turned at. Still on the way back to SD now. Saw several groups out photographing so surely some will turn up here. Was a great trip, will try to post some pictures from on board when I am back to the hotel tonight.
