Thanks for posting, an excellent article. While I knew the Brewery had opened this is by far the most complete story. I’ll skip dinner on the SWC to have an early one here (and a brew or two). 

We all knew about the reopening but this is welcome new detail.  Thanks for posting.

The Mojave SP depot had a Harvey House. The late Florence Tomaier, a long-time resident of Mojave,was a Harvey Girl.

Thanks Run8 for posting. Don't let rude people like Trainjunkie stop you from posting. This article is completely different than the one previously posted with far more detail and new photos. Now the best station in the country has gotten even better with new use for this historic long abandoned space.

Lighten up Francis. I just looked at the URL run8 posted and saw the word 'resurrected' so I assumed this article was a likely extension of the previous thread since that is where the 'resurrection' was initially announced on TO. Man some of you have thin skin.

Some of the discussion in that thread remind me of folks criticizing a group who have spent millions bringing a rotting hulk of a park engine back to life, but painted the wheel tires white.

Run8's link was fresh stuff to me; including an interesting back story and nice sharp pictures.
I knew about the repurposing of the old structure earlier, but know a lot more about it now.
Luckily, I was able to call LAUPT (LAUS) my workplace for over 20 years. I once banged away
on an old Royal typewriter inside one of the internal offices, where the Customer Assistance folks
used to be. I had a window that looked out onto the main floor of the Terminal. That was about 1983.
