New regs for Florida Brightline?

And I thought the GOP (post-Theodore Roosevelt) was opposed to business regulations.

Looks pretty simple to me: catering to "constituents" for votes. The emphasis in the article for crossing "safety" and trespassing are the obvious clues.

Obviously, neither party cares about providing transportation, just getting money and votes, by making promises. I don't know why people take passenger rail in the U.S. so seriously.
