Passenger Trains > No. 6-24Date: 12/25/18 12:28 No. 6-24 Author: lowwater OS Slt, CO, 1:22 MST, about 1:40 late. A dirty UP-something leading two AMTK units couple elephant-style, one might have been 7, couldn't read the other. No. 5 is about on time, which means they'll both hit Glenwood about the same time -- and also that one or the other will take a hit. It's possible that if 6 scoots on in, gets it's work done, and reverses back to the main in time to get out of 5's way, 5 could stay on-time with minimal additional delay for 6, but it will be tight.
EDIT: Well, looks like #6 got held -- it dropped another 19 minutes. #5 left Glenwood OT, arrived Grand Junction 23 minutes early. Oh, and Merry Christmas, or Season's Greetings, as your case may be! Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 12/25/18 14:51 by lowwater. Date: 12/25/18 15:43 Re: No. 6-24 Author: ProAmtrak I wonder which Amtrak engien crapped out on no. 6!
