Peninsular Railway 73 in San Jose
Author: schaffner

Today was the last day that VTA ran the Holly Trolley service in San Jose.  Due to a problem with Milan car 2001 they ended up using Peninsular Railway 73 instead.  Here are a couple photos of it running.  It's been quite a few years since VTA last ran this car.

Too bad no one at VTA thought about running this service another week...in conjunction with all the downtown activities occurring with the National College Football Game next Monday at Levi's Stadium.   Oh well....

Nice that they built the overhead so that it could handle both panographs and trolley poles.

It's like that just from Younger Street to the crossover just past Convention Center.
