NJ.com reports Bonnie Watson Coleman, a Democrat from Central NJ, now has a seat on the House Appropriations Committee. She has been part of a unified effort to get funding for a new Amtrak / NJT Hudson River Tunnel.

The former Ranking Member Nita Lowey of NYS is now the Chair. (Coleman is also fighting cancer).

For folks keeping score at home, Ms Lowey is an ally of Andrew Cuomo. The Gov has been maneuvering to get his tribe in control of the NYP project.

Senator Schumer has an interest in this, as his real estate allies own pieces of the NYP project. Some of these folks are also allies of President Trump.

So, a deal might be coming into view...
