Passenger Trains > On 3(28)

On the Chief from CHI to LAX that left CHI on the 28th. About to arrive at Trinidad Colorado, down about 2 hours account auto strike in Kansas (driver left stalled car upon hearing train approaching so no injuries or fatality) I slept through the whole thing!

Usual consist: 2 units, 1 baggage, 1 trasition crew/sleeper, 2 sleepers, diner, lounge, 2 coaches CHI-LAX, 1 coach CHI-KCY

interesting note: Chicago failed to load desserts.

As you know I was on #4 and had already met you during the nite. Trains passing in the nite. We had the same consist eastbound. 2 coaches sold out leaving LA. Who knows how much revenue Amtrak left sitting on the table because of this 2 coach policy?
