Passenger Trains > New Orleans Public Belt + streetcar shopDate: 06/23/19 20:56 New Orleans Public Belt + streetcar shop Author: casco17 Here are a few more pics from the recent Railroad Station Historical Society trip.
We did a drive by of the New Orleans Public Belt RR HQ - does anyone know if they ever offer trips to the public on that passenger car? Meanwhile, we also walked by the streetcar shop; this picture was taken from the sidewalk. Very impressive!
(The tour was arranged by a colleague). Bill Deaver Tehachapi, CA Date: 06/24/19 12:07 Re: New Orleans Public Belt + streetcar shop Author: Peak45068 A bunch of us Brits hired those cars and travelled much of the NOLA Public Belt railroad in April 2017 behind engine 3001.
