At 4:09 today I got an automated message alerting me of the delay. Any reasons for the delay?

Amtrak's magic scheduler is not anticipating any further losses in time Date: 06/24/19 14:57 Re: Amtrak Train # 43 running at least an hour and a half late at Author: mp109 If they took 30 minutes at Harrisburg, they probably used an electric engine from Philadelphia to Harrisburg and changed to the Harrisburg "protect engine".
The days of ten minute changes from electric to diesel of the PRR era are long gone. If an engine change is unnecessary the dwell time in Harrisburg can be less than ten minutes.
