Passenger Trains > Another very late #3. No SGR?Date: 09/12/19 09:55 Another very late #3. No SGR? Author: Cumbresfan Lost two hours Topeka, another hour ABQ-Gallup. Dixie shows left Barstow 8:31 PDT, but TransitDoc shows stopped west end of Barstow yard for 1+ hrs. Now on the move again with arrival LA at least 5+ hours late.

After that...????? Date: 09/12/19 09:59 Re: Another very late #3. No SGR? Author: Cumbresfan Anderson promised SW Chief to "run" during FY2019 which ends in just over 2 weeks. Nothing that I've heard of commits past then. Is he planning to off the trains because they are nowhere near reliable as the problems this current week show?

Author: YardLimit Southwest Chief Train 3 which departed Chicago (CHI) on 9/10 is currently operating approximately 6hr late due to an equipment issue at Barstow. Additionally there was a tresspasser incident in Kansas before that.

BB in Spokane Posted from iPhone Date: 09/12/19 17:53 Re: Another very late #3. No SGR? Author: GenePoon They did pick up the AMTK 179 set out bad order (SOGR) at Albuquerque.
It has also been speculated but not confirmed that the time lost at Barstow was to pick up the two Superliners, Coach and Diner 34041 and 38028, that were set out bad order (SOGR) at Cadiz with hotboxes, repaired on site by BNSF and then taken to Barstow by a BNSF local freight.
