On Sunday, at the end of the Thanksgiving Week rush, will Amrak be using any Acela trainsets or any HHPs to handle the extra traffic?

HHP's were working today Philly-New York; likely to continue throughout the weekend. Look for assignments using electrics PHL-NYP, such as the Harrisburg trains.

The operation of Acela Express is on a "surprise" basis, and will be done as crew qualification allows and permits. To run one of these, they will need a fully qualified crew, and enough trainees to make it worth while running the train to qualify them.

You'll find AEM'7s on the Harrisburg runs as HHP's replace them on the the corridor runs.

One HHP was working the Keystone route on Wednesday, looked like they had a full house in the cab, four, maybe five people.

I'll put up a review of what I saw in seven hours at Metropark later, but they had a lot of trainee engineers, quite a few women.
