When will we know what funding Amtrak will receive for the next fiscal year?

Thanks for any replies and if you know can you tell me what Amtrak got 2018-2019 fiscal year?

"Next year," meaning federal Fiscal Year 2020, which began last Tuesday? Technically it's zero, but the government is operating under a Continuing Resolution that keeps funding at last year's (FY19) levels through late November. Amtrak's funding level for Fiscal Years 2018 and 2019 was $1.941 billion. Good summary here:

If past performance is any guide, before the end of the calendar year there will be a "must pass" omnibus spending bill to run through next September. Doesn't seem to be much stomach for any "shutdown" theatrics this time around. But you never know...a change of heart could be only one "tweet" away.
