Metra is replacing the diamonds at Mayfair. Amtrak 333/336 cancelled. 332 over 3 hours late stopped at Mayfair. Amtrak 334 close behind.

But why on Amtrak annoucment of the project and delays.  Many folks would understand the need and be able to adjust their transportion needs,
Just posting cancelled  does not get the message across.

Thought it was a little weird to see the "is being delayed by trackwork." On a Sunday.
Diamond replacement would explain it.
