Passenger Trains > Pacific Surfliner Charger locomotive paint scheme questionDate: 12/04/19 06:46 Pacific Surfliner Charger locomotive paint scheme question Author: Ntrainfan Hello all,
In occasional Los Angeles and Fullerton railfanning I have seen a slight difference in the paint styles applied to the Pacific Surfliner locomotives. Most have a full blue stripe and the blue continues over the fairing at the top rear of the locomotive. However, at least two (roadnumbers 2109 and 2110) do not have the blue stripe over the aft fairing. Is this intentional, or is the blue stripe to be added? This prior post gives a good comparison of the paint style differences: https://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?4,4657488,4657488#msg-4657488 Thanks in advance to all for your comments/inputs! Chris Date: 12/04/19 16:32 Re: Pacific Surfliner Charger locomotive paint scheme question Author: KM-ML4000 LOSSAN chnaged the paint scheme for the PSL locomotives after the 2109 and 2110 were already painted at Siemens, so these two are unique on the PSL.
