LAX is the proper, Amtrak-sanctioned station code for Los Angeles Union Station. Either he knows this and is being a smartass. Or he's clueless in thinking that LAX is used only for the airport. Either way, his snipe is foolish. He's gonna say something stupid like this one day to the wrong person and truly wish that he hadn't.
