Passenger Trains > Amfleet I Coach QuestionDate: 01/18/20 13:04 Amfleet I Coach Question Author: Amtrak288 When I was in Chicago last September, I photographed a coach that no longer has the "Illinois High Speed Rail" badging on its side, I know this as I have another older photo of the same coach when it still had the badging. Is this a regular thing or did I just see an anomaly?

Not sure exactly what is being referenced, but if you are meaning does Amtrak ever swap Amfleet I cars between Chicago/Midwest and the Northeast - the answer is YES! One occasionally sees the "Northeast Regional" logo on the Amtrak 1 Cafe cars sitting in the Chicago yard. There's a couple of coach car numbers I have also seen in the Chicago yard that used to be in the Northeast. Forgot about that, there was so little of it and it was useless. But I thought it was still in effect when the buffed-out photo was posted here.
