Author: GenePoon Where it broke down, it was still within the city of Pittsburgh, along the busway and prior to where the Capitol Limited switches off toward Washington. It was towed back to Pittsburgh station where attempts to fix it were unsuccessful.
42(23) at Horseshoe Curve minutes ago, about 2h 45m late. Virtual Railfan video captures. Edited 3 time(s). Last edit at 01/23/20 12:38 by GenePoon. But in any case, misery loves company. Date: 01/23/20 10:14 Re: What happened to the PENNSYLVANIAN? Author: GenePoon 30(22) was an hour late at Pittsburgh today but made the connection by 90 minutes.

We’ll probably see at least 5 more years of them operating. I don’t know what VIA plans to do with their Genesis units. I know that they will be ordering Siemens Charger and Viaggio Push Pull trainsets.

All it takes is proper maintenance which Amtrak for years have had a lack of at times, especially in Chicago! |
