Andy Posted from Android Date: 01/24/20 05:12 Re: What happened to the Crescent? Author: Jimbo Apparently only a short delay for 19(23) as Transitdocs shows it departing Gainesville, GA, 52 minutes late at 7:50 AM EST.
However, it looks like today's 20 will be delayed because of an NS derailment. The Amtrak long distance Twitter Alerts says: Crescent Train 20 scheduled to depart New Orleans (NOL) on 1/24 will be delayed departing due to a freight train derailment blocking the tracks north of Hattiesburg (HBG). We will update as more information becomes available. Date: 01/24/20 07:11 Re: What happened to the Crescent? Author: GenePoon Trying to get info. Author: ctillnc According to the most recent ETT that I have, the longest siding between Austell and Lardent (east side of Anniston) is only 11,255 feet... which used to be plenty. PSR strikes again.
