This corridor can’t seem to catch a break — boulders falling last week, and broken down UP trains now... 😲

How do they even get their freight trains to pass one another ? PSR seems to be a suicide mission.

PSR is a cancer. Sure, feeding on a relatively healthy host (the RR industry) until the host is so sick from traffic being run off and turned down is great for short term profits...but eventually the host is going to die from the cancer.

That is the way of American corporate business these days.  Feed the speculators and hedge funds, starve the patient...and when it shows signs of the illness, the speculators and hedge funds move on to ruin something else.

So how is PSR a factor to this type of disruption?  When it says, "disabled freight train"... do they mean two freights met and both too long for a siding?  So they have to split a train into two segments and use two sidings?
