Passenger Trains > No Cardinals in Saturday

#51 stopped at Thurmond, WV due to a mudslide ahead - finally reverse to Prince where buses were on hand to take the passengers west.  
No #50 from Chicago tonight.  Be interesting to see if #51's equipment turns and handles passengers back to Washington tomorrow, or if #50's passengers are bussed all the way and the equipment deadheaded.

Based on Amtrak's announcement that alternative transportation will be provided (only) between Chicago and Cincinnati for the annulled #50, it sounds like the terminated #51 equipment will be deadheaded back east and those ticketed on #50 for points east of Cincinnati will be stuck to ride on a different day, ride a different Amtrak train (if possible), or find their own alternative.
