Passenger Trains > Amtrak B32-8WH's @ "MH" TowerDate: 02/20/20 13:23 Amtrak B32-8WH's @ "MH" Tower Author: aussiehinz A pair of back to back B32-8WH's along with an SC44 "Charger" turned in front of "MH" tower this morning. A positioning move not unheard of, but not seen all that often, either. The B32's were built in December, 1991.

Uncle Joe way down in Florida Date: 02/23/20 15:47 Re: Amtrak B32-8WH's @ "MH" Tower Author: justalurker66 Did they use the charger as a switch engine to turn the older engines? I noticed the red lights on 504.
Did this go into the yard and pick up passenger cars before departing Chicago with the Charger leading? Date: 02/24/20 19:47 Re: Amtrak B32-8WH's @ "MH" Tower Author: aussiehinz No, not that I saw. I'm pretty certain it was just a turning move, probably turning the SC44 itself.

The paint on the 504 is the ugliest paint scheme on an Amtrak unit. |
