Passenger Trains > 30 of the 23rd

In the case of an 8 hour late inbound 29, what will happen to 30? I’m sure it will take about 3-4 hours to service the 2 engine 6 car train. Or perhaps Chicago could piece together two engines, trans sleeper, sleeper, diner lite, lounge, and two coaches?

If I remember correctly the inbound crew from Toledo goes back west the same evening? Will that plan not work out because 29’s crew has to have X amount of rest in Chicago before taking a train back east to toledo?

Appears Amtrak cobbled together a "make-up" train set and the crew's extra board can take the consist out of Chicago.
