This is how 1 million will get the virus and 200,000 will die....It is just crazy to get on a train...STAY HOME!

hopefully, public safety (police/fire/ems) can maintain reasonable staffing levels............

The train operators and conductors see so many people. Answering their questions. Conductors need to watch the side of the train for 2 or 3 car lengths after they start. Open window at each stop. I would wear a mask and perhaps a face shield if MTA would allow.Tough to work the PA with a mask and or face shield. I wonder if the cabs are cleaned after each trip.

I hope so, but I'd bring my container of Lysol wipes, just in case.  Considering the toilets aren't always the cleanest and best smelling places on the unit, I don't think assuming they cleaned the cab is a good idea. 

I wonder what would happen if the outbound crew took 15-20 minutes to wipe down every surface, clean the mikes, knobs,hand rails,  etc?  Prob drive the train ops / DS teams nuts.

CTA doesn't have conductors???  Have not had for years.  Employees are at stations but have very little conduct with  patrons. Does New York still have two man street cars?
