He hired on about a year after me. I didn't know Joe, as he worked the Newark Division, and I only very briefly worked the Newark side in late 1998. I must have run into him when I worked the Midtown Direct trains from Dover to NY, but I just can't place his face. Anyway, many of my coworkers DID know him, and all have said what a nice, helpful and overall great person he was. RIP brother...
