Trip to Rutland, Vermont: August 2012
Author: Passfanatic

I made a roundtrip on the Amtrak Ethan Allen from NYP-RUD and back. I spent the night in Rutland-a great town. The train ride was nice! Let the pictures begin.

Pictures 1 and 2 were at ALB. Picture 3 is of the Rutland, Vermont Station building.

FYI, that yard near Ft Edward was the processing plant for the PCB contaminated sediment dredged from the Hudson River. They had a contract for switching in the plant.

I was not aware that Saratoga Springs had a new station.  Looks nice.

I don't know when the station building opened up at Saratoga Springs but it is a nice station building. I have never stepped off the train there. Someday I might do that.
