Passenger Trains > 59 (2) to NOLA with PV Tioga Pass

As seen passing Metra / Electric 211th St. on the old IC. 

I prefer watching southbounds from 211 and northbounds from Matteson as one can look south from the former and north from the latter to see signals protecting the crossover from 1 to 2 by the Matteson junction with the J and, upon seeing a clear signal, know I did not miss them.  I also utilize ATCS Monitor to see where they are but I have to remote in to a PC running it.  And the Amtrak app but the accuracy as a predictor is kind of iffy other than for gross lateness.  Last night it was saying 8:59...then 9:00 (for the Homewood stop); just slightly late.  So I biked over (it's just 10 minutes from me) figuring I would have a long wait. Once on the platform I checked the app again and they were reporting an OT arrival at HMW.  Good thing I wasn't counting on the slight lateness.  Lots of padding in the schedule.
