IAIS 1989 Quad City Rocket Dinner Train including views from onboard.
These weekend afternoon runs from Rock Island, Illinois to Wilton, Iowa on the Iowa Interstate RR featured lite fare; (hot dogs, chips, etc) instead of a sit-down dinner.
I had forgotten how some of the good citizens of Wilton came out to greet the train.

IIRC the dome was "Big Ben" and part of Butterworth's collection of cars...

Love it! Heck the hot dogs are just icing on the cake, riding the old Rock Island main line in a dome would be awesome!

Thanks for posting!  It's always nice to see this operation in my hometown of Wilton; photos of it are not really common.  I'm glad I took the opportunity to ride it too.

Yes, it was C&O, then DRG&W with an added vestible so it could be run between cars.
