Passenger Trains > Trains and Stations: Cumberland, MD (Amtrak)Date: 09/20/20 07:30 Trains and Stations: Cumberland, MD (Amtrak) Author: bandob Today's Amtrak stop in Cumberland doesn't really deserve to be called a station. It is a flat space under a roof. The postcard view shows what used to be a magnificant B&O building.

You can't compare it to the Western Maryland Scenic RR Station building which is a few blocks away.

Usually the Cap would make several stops (sleeper and coach) and it was also a smoke stop, but it took me many trips to actually figure out exactly where the station was!
