I hope the trip back from Chicago (and Canada) was a good one but no doubt Norm will be happy to be home.  It's always great to ride in a PV, either long-distance or just a day trip.

Very nice photos. Fullerton sure looks different (and more beautiful) from when I began visiting there in the mid-80s. I miss being able to ride my bicycle there (from Norwalk) to spend a few hours on the platform.

Is that unusual for a westbound train to be routed into the eastbound platform for passenger servicing?

The Chief is regularly on track 3 now - both East and Westbounds.
