Passenger Trains > Last Train to WashingtonDate: 10/24/20 13:20 Last Train to Washington Author: bobwilcox VRE 54 (MPI MP36PH-3C) shoves the last northbound train of the day across the Rappahannock River. VRE provides weekday service between Spotsylvania, VA and Washington. VRE has cut daily trains on this line from eight to five in response to a dramatic drop in riders sent home with the arrival of the coronavirus. Many people working inside the Beltway are able to work from their homes.
