7 of the 26th

821 and 157 with the winter consist. Out of Glenview at 14:43. Now all stopped at Pleasant Prairie at 16:55. I heard on the radio that two air hoses separated going over the Rondout diamonds. Not sure what's going on now....

7(26) with the AMTK 821 and 157 suffered separated air hoses west of Rondout; took THREE HOURS to fix!?!?!?!?

- Engine on #14 died before leaving LA Union Station
- Spare Engine on adjacent track
- Took 4 HOURS to take the engine on the adjacent track and hook it up to consist #14 and proceed north.

I guess a lot of things can go wrong in switching engines out or hooking up hoses.

Lets see, troubleshooting, calling CNOC, uh anything else that was a lot easier to do when they had the F40s?
